We went to Lagoon last week. We were all excited to try the new ride, Primordial. It was a very long line, but we all enjoyed the ride.
Tessa sure loves the Screamer. The kids rode that one and then the boys wanted to ride Cannibal, so Tessa kept riding Screamer while they did that.
Tessa and I also rode the umbrellas while the boys were on Cannibal.
I feel more and more sick on rides every year I get older, so any time there wasn't a need for me to ride, I happily watched the rest of them having fun. :)
Paul felt better this year than he has the past couple years. He rode most everything and the kids loved that!
We went to Lagoon-a-Beach for the afternoon and that felt great. We also got some Dippin' Dots to help cool down. It was a hot one!
I do love the Spider so I rode that one a couple times with the kids. The boys wanted to do Wicked after that, and Tessa decided she wanted to try it again.
Turns out she still hates it. Haha. She passed out for a quick moment on the initial gust of speed and straight-down hill. She came to just in time for the corkscrews and screamed her little head off. The boys sure enjoyed it though. :)
They all like the Colossus.
The kids rode the Rock-o-Planes once and then got back on again since there wasn't much of a line. Paul and I were ready to sit and watch at that point.
They loaded Tessa into a car and moved her up a little and then loaded Rockwell and Damon into a car, and then the ride quit working. They called someone over to look at it and assured us that it would be working shortly. Paul let Tessa know what was going on.
But then they had to call someone else over. It was taking quite a while, so I asked them if they could manually move the cars around and let the kids out while they were working on it. They were ready to get out and move on to other rides!
It was another fun, hot, family day at Lagoon!
