Catch Up Continued

Audrey had her baby! Annabelle is as precious as they come. I just want to keep her. :)

We made a fire one night and roasted marshmallows. It was beautiful weather, so it was so fun to just be and play outside together.

I looked out the window one day and saw Rockwell like this on the tramp. He sat there meditating for quite a while. Funny kid!
Rockwell sure made me proud last week. The stomach flu went through the family, and it was a nasty one. Tessa was the last to get it, and the poor thing threw up every 10 minutes for 4 hours straight. Paul had gotten it earlier that day and was in no condition to help with the kids that night. It got a little crazy at one point with all 3 kids awake and needing me. Damon had been up for hours and I knew he was hungry and probably wouldn't go back to sleep until he ate something. I finally risked it and ran downstairs to get him a waffle and milk. I had just gotten Damon out of his crib to start eating when I heard something in Tessa's room. I ran in there to find Rockwell holding the bucket for Tessa. I about died it was so sweet. I took over for him and he went to keep Damon in his room and eating. He is such a sweet, thoughtful, proactive, helpful, and genuinely good kid!

The kids had a lot of fun with our family night learning about Noah. I loved hearing Tessa talk about how when we see rainbows we can remember that Heavenly Father protects us when we obey His commandments.

Al invited Tessa to go to a park with her, Wyatt, and Hallee. Tess was so excited! I took Rockwell and Damon to the park for a bit when Rock got out of school.

Damon was so funny walking around the park like he owned the place in his much too tight shorts and cowboy boots. :)
He sure is a handful these days! If I take my eyes off him for 2 minutes he's into some sort of trouble. I put dinner in the crock pot one morning, and then went into the front room to find a box of cereal dumped all over the floor, and Damon jumping on a book that he'd put on top of the cereal, smashing the cereal into crumbs into the carpet. Another day I ran to take a very quick shower. I didn't wash my hair or anything, just wanted to rinse off real quick. In that time, he got all of our dvds out of their paper cases and tore most of them, dumped a whole box of teddy grahams on the floor, and started the dishwasher.

Seriously, it's a good thing he's so stinking cute!!

I cut Tessa's hair again.

The kids love playing outside whenever the weather is warm enough.

Most days the backyard is too muddy for Damon to play out there, so he stands here watching the kids and talking to them out the window the whole time. I know he wants to be out there so bad.

We had an impromptu date night with the Carr's and Loosli's one night, just going to Chili's for dinner. I'm loving how many more dates we can go on now that all our kids enjoy having babysitters.

Rockwell went to a soccer clinic that the boy's soccer team put on at Timpanogos. He loved that!

Isn't Tessa pretty!?!

We were going to be out late one night, I can't even remember where. I jokingly told Tessa she should take a nap that day, knowing that would never happen. But a few hours later, she fell asleep on me. I couldn't believe it, but I sure enjoyed it.

Al got Rockwell a pair of Pokemon pajamas. That definitely made his day!

One day when Al was over Damon kept asking her to read him books. He made himself comfortable on her lap and was her buddy for the day. It was so cute!

Tessa is still loving dance. She loves to walk on this wall into and out of dance every time.

We were playing in the basement tonight and Tessa ran over to the pole and scaled it like it was no big deal at all. I was shocked!

She is very very attached to me right now. She constantly wants to sit on my lap, have me carry her, just be right with me every minute. The problem is Damon gets jealous if I hold or carry anyone besides him. It's fun! I'm trying to spend a lot of time with her while Damon's asleep so she's okay sharing me while he's awake. We had fun out on the swings in the rain today. She's been really helpful with things around the house, even helping me wash walls.

Damon finally likes reading books. He didn't care about them for the longest time, but I'm so glad he likes them now.

I don't know what it is about putting kids on top of the fridge, but Paul does it often and they all love it. Haha!

Catch Up

Here are some highlights from the last month and a half.
We celebrated the February/early March birthdays with the Ham family.
All the kids love the rocket that Rockwell got for his birthday.

Marmie stopped by to visit and give Rockwell a birthday present. I didn't think to take a picture with her, darn it. He loved his BYU shirt and magnets though!

Damon loves to have his clothes off. He's even started getting really mad at me that I won't take his diaper off too. He hasn't figured out how to do it himself, knock on wood. He's so cute whenever he lays down with a blanket. He says, "Ahhh, nice" every time.

The weather has been a little bit of everything since I last posted. We were so excited to get the first flowers in our yard.
And I'm pretty sure this was the next day. :)

Paul and I have gone on a few dates. We had so much fun playing racquetball with Al and Keith. We haven't played in years, and it was really fun to play again. We also went to The Dry Bar Comedy Club in Provo with the Carr's and Loosli's. The comedians' pay is based on how clean their routine is. We laughed so hard our faces hurt. That was a fun date night!

Rockwell's school had Family Week, so I got to go eat lunch with Rockwell one day. It was fun to see him in his element and spend some time with his friends. I love the school he goes to. The culture there is so uplifting and positive.
Thanks to my mom for watching Tessa and Damon while I went to lunch!
I took Tessa and Rockwell to a Family Night Magic Show that week too. It was a scientist from UVU, and he put on a great show. The kids thought it was awesome.

Tess and Damon sure have fun whenever I go to Costco. They were pretending to build a castle and a moat on this day. :)

Tessa loves to wash her own apples now. Such a simple thing, but man it makes her happy to do it herself.
