Life Lately Continued

We've had a lot of fun swimming in our backyard this summer. It's certainly been a hot one!

Damon loved helping mow the lawn.

We all loved getting more time to play with friends this summer. The kids can hardly stand it when they know Wyatt and Hallee are on their way. This is them watching out the window for them.
It's fun that the Woahn's have kids the same ages as all three of ours. We love when Brig and McKay come to play.
What good big brothers Rockwell and Brig are!
I also love that whenever Rockwell has a friend over to play, they always play with Tessa too. I don't think it even crosses Rockwell's mind that Tessa wouldn't play with them.

Damon loves being outside. He often brings me his shoes and then asks, through his grunting, to go play in the backyard.

We went bowling with Al and Mel and their kids one day. Rockwell didn't use the ramp at all this time. We were all super impressed when he threw a strike!
We went to Al's house after bowling for lunch and a carnival. Jonah needed to put on a carnival for scouts, so he did it for the cousins. He had a sword fighting game on the tramp, bean bag toss, ring toss, Mr Potato Head competition, and a few other games. My kids loved it! Jonah was so cute explaining all the games to them and giving them medals and prizes after they played.

The boys looked so handsome in their new church clothes!

I thought it was so funny to watch Tessa playing a pretty rough game with all the boy cousins on the tramp at Grandma Ham's house. She was right in the mix of it all, until she just started crying. I ran out there thinking she must have gotten hurt. When she settled down enough to talk, she said she was sad that Elijah had gotten Rockwell off the tramp (which was the point of the game.) She was so sad her brother had "lost." Haha!

I love watching my kids sleep. This is definitely Damon's favorite sleeping position.

Caitlyn came and watched our kids while Paul and I went to the stake conference adult session with Al and Keith and Katie and Ben. President Nelson was there. It was a great meeting that focused on how important "the one" is to our Savior. We went out for dessert after. It was a great date night!
