Life Lately

Tessa loves the bear Mel gave her for her birthday! She named it Tessa Jr., carries it everywhere, and asks for pictures with it all the time.

And whenever she's not playing with Tessa Jr, she sets her up with some tea while she waits for Tess to play with her again. :)
Tessa also loves the fur coat Mel and Amarie gave her years ago. She was literally squealing with delight that it fits her now, and wears it everywhere. So cute!

We went to Hayden's baptism this month. I didn't get any pictures of Hayden. I hardly saw him or Rockwell at the luncheon. They were having too much fun playing. I did get this adorable picture of the kids with Grandma though. I love it!
Damon made some awesome faces during lunch!

Rockwell finished his season of basketball. He definitely wants to play again. It was fun to watch him find something else he loves to do.

Love this!

Paul taught Damon how to "dab." My 2 year old can dab, beat box, and says "Oh my gosh, look at her butt" at least 25 times a day. Makes a mother proud! ;)

Who wore it better? Haha! Mel came over last week wearing the same outfit as Damon. We had a good laugh about that!

The kids wrote their letters to Santa. A skateboard is at the top of both Rockwell and Tessa's lists this year.

Tessa and Damon's favorite game right now is playing doggies. One of them is the dog and the other is the owner. They choose a dog name, feed the dog treats, pet the dog, and take the dog for walks. They're playing it in all three of these pictures. A lot of times they put socks on their hands and feet pretending to have paws. It's pretty cute.

One of the Light the World challenges was to make a treat and take it to a neighbor. They all wanted to take one to Shiree. They just love her. She came and played with the kids the other night while Paul and I went to the church for a calling. When we got home, they told us they wanted us to be gone longer because they didn't want Shiree to leave. It was very sweet. We're so glad Shiree is our neighbor and friend!

Christmas Programs

Tessa had her Preschool Christmas Program this week. She was so excited for it, and just loved performing.
She couldn't help but dance while she sang all the songs. It was adorable! She memorized her part and liked saying that in the microphone.
Santa came at the end.
Rockwell had his 2nd grade music program the next morning. It was such a fun program! They learned super fun songs and had adorable actions to go along with the songs.
Their songs were catchy and I was singing them the rest of the day. Rockwell really enjoyed performing too. He's sure come a long way from his preschool program, where he cried and sat in the audience with us the whole time. :)

Dance Class

This week was a parent visiting week at dance. We're not allowed to stay and watch the rest of the weeks. It was so fun to watch Tess do something she absolutely loves. There's not much better in Tessa's opinion than dancing with her best friend.
They were so cute holding hands through the warm up. :)

Christmas Pictures

I had fun taking some Christmas pictures of the kids.

I don't have a camera that can do what I was picturing in my head for this pose. They're still cute, but I think next year I'll borrow Al's camera and try again.
And of course, they love to be silly.
I sure love these kids!

The Great Christmas Adventure

Al found a deal for The Great Christmas Adventure in Heber, so we decided to try it out.
The kids loved it! Mrs. Claus read them a Christmas story.
They wrote letters to Santa.
They played a snowball game.
They rode a train.
They got to play with toys in Santa's workshop.

The last thing we got to do was take a sleigh ride to see Santa. This was by far the coolest thing of the night. The sleigh moved so it felt like you were flying as you watched a screen playing a movie of you on your way to the North Pole.
Santa was there to greet us when we arrived. Nobody was scared of Santa this year!
We went to McDonald's for dinner and let the kids play in the play land. It was a super fun night. The kids said over and over again how much they loved spending all that time with their cousins.
