Thanksgiving

We spent this Thanksgiving with the Ham family.
We always love when Matt and Lori come to town! We missed Gary, and always miss Jen, but it was fun to spend time with Matt's family.
Elena is such a sweetheart! Tessa loved the craft that Elena brought for her and Hallee. She even let the girls decorate her face! :)
The kids loved jumping on the tramp with Elena and playing the fun games she made up with them.
Rockwell had a blast playing with his cousins all day.
We celebrated Tessa's and Matt's birthdays that night. Tess loved all her new presents.

It was a great day with family!
Early the next morning, Tessa started throwing up. Poor little thing was miserable for 3 days straight.
It was so hard for Rockwell to miss out on the rest of the time with his cousins, but since we assumed it was the stomach flu we didn't want to risk spreading it around. He was saying the prayer for lunch on Saturday and prayed that all the cousins would have fun at Grandma's house. I thought that was so sweet and mature for a 7 year old, who was stuck at home knowing that his cousins were doing fun stuff together. He amazes me. Luckily nobody else got sick, and by Sunday we felt okay with Paul and Rockwell going to Grandma Clark's house for a family party. Rockwell was thrilled to be able to go play with his cousins there! They sent home Tessa's birthday present, and she loved opening that and playing with her new ballerina barbie.

I took Damon outside to play while Tessa napped and Paul and Rockwell were gone on Sunday. He was so excited to go out there!

By Monday I was going pretty stir crazy and tried to come up with stuff that we could do that wouldn't push Tessa too far. We tried a walk.
We tried playing with the sand.

And we made the crowns that she got for her birthday. (This picture was taken Tuesday when she was feeling much much better. :)
Luckily Tuesday she woke up feeling back to normal. That was a long one! And luckily the rest of us didn't get it. I'm so grateful for that.
