Quarantine Week 8

Northridge did a teacher and staff parade around the neighborhoods. We drove into the boundaries and watched from our car.
Mrs Smith told Tessa she would be in the car with all the minions on it, so Tess wore her minion shirt too.
It was fun to see Mrs Smith and Mrs Ellsworth.
Damon planted some bean seeds in our window for a preschool lesson, and they started sprouting. The picture doesn't show them well, but you can see one on the left, right by the picture of the worm. He's really excited to see them growing.
Tessa passed off her last level (6th grade words and phrases) of Word Wizards!!
Rockwell had a tooth that was super loose and driving him crazy. He wanted to try the door method to pull it out. Paul was about to slam the door, but then got nervous. :) Rockwell shut the door himself and the tooth came right out.
Rockwell got a new bike, and thinks it's fun to take Tessa for rides.
Paul went into work one day this week, and brought home some Redbox movie codes and Variety Popcorn Kernels that someone had given him for Teacher Appreciation Week. We rented Sonic and popped a couple different popcorns for a movie night. When Paul was growing up, they would pop popcorn and butter it by shaking it with melted butter in a brown paper bag. The kids thought that was fun, and it tasted really good.
I got in the hot tub with the boys one day.
Paul was fixing some sprinklers, so the kids ran through the sprinklers again.
Rockwell brought up all his art supplies and wanted the family to draw and color together. He was so sweet to share all of his stuff with us. That's not always the easiest thing for him, so I was proud of him.
My mom said that the only thing she wanted for Mother's Day was for the family to get together now that we can have gatherings of 20 people. She made dinner and dessert on Saturday, so my sisters and I didn't need to cook or clean up anything. We also celebrated Damon's birthday, and he loved all the nice presents the family gave him.
