Tricia invited Shiree, Aimee and I over for a tea party. Her yard is very peaceful and relaxing, and it was fun to eat and visit with friends.
Junko was given tickets to General Conference and offered the tickets for Saturday afternoon to Paul. There were only 3 tickets, so our whole family couldn't go. We decided to let Rockwell go and invite someone. He was really excited to go and wanted to bring Wyatt.
The tickets were front row! As they were waiting for the session to start, President Steven J. Lund, the General Young Men President, stopped by and talked to them.
They said it was so cool to be there. They all loved the choir of primary children. President Nelson's health isn't great right now (100 years old!), but he attended that session. It was so fun to see the boys right below the First Presidency on the tv!
They stopped for some bbq on the way home. I think that's an experience they'll remember forever!
We went to the Fall Festival at the elementary school. Tessa went off with her friends and Paul and I went around with Damon and Sawyer. They had a good time!
Tessa got to watch Sadie for about a week. She's missed Sadie since Roxanne re-homed her with her daughter. They both went on vacation together, so Roxanne brought Sadie back to her house and Tessa got to take care of her. It was really cute to watch them together the first time she went over there. They acted just like two best friends who had been reunited. Sadie kept jumping on her and licking her face while her tail was wagging like crazy. They were excited to see each other again. :)
Tessa and Morgan did each other's nails and Tessa loved the cute paw print design Morgan did. She also tried putting cute ghosts in her hair that night, and they turned out really cute!
Misha texted Paul and me to let us know that their daughter Aisha had passed away from an accidental Fentanyl overdose. We were so heartbroken for the Baca family. We know Aisha has been fighting hard to get and stay clean, and this was so devastating for their family. Damon's too young to remember Aisha babysitting our kids, but Tessa and Rockwell remember her well. We love her, and we love the whole Baca family. They did a wonderful job of honoring Aisha's life and the joy she brought their family at her funeral.
You totally need to frame a copy of that conference photo and hang it in your house! So cool! What a great memory for all 3 boys.
