UIAAA Invitational & Timpvite

 Rockwell had a cross country meet in Spanish Fork.

They tried a new strategy to have the varsity team run together the whole time. It didn’t work great and I don’t think they will do that again. 

Rockwell finished in 17.20.26 (133rd place, 5th on the team).

Emilie and Matt came to watch him run. They always come to the races in Spanish Fork, and I always forget to get a picture. I remembered this time though! Yay!

Their next meet was the Timpanogos Invitational.

Rockwell looked really strong every time I saw him pass.

He had a great race and set a new PR!!

He finished in 16:30.7 (90th place, 2nd on the team)

Rockwell was really excited about his race. He felt great and was so happy to get a new PR.

Everyday Adventures

 Rockwell mowed a few lawns for his job this summer. 

Kathy Fullmer made quilts for each of us kids and Dad out of my mom’s clothes. Al helped cut the squares of clothes and organized it all with Kathy. I love how they turned out! We have so many memories of my mom in each of these shirts or dresses, and it’s fun to recall the memories every time I see the quilt.

Damon enjoyed welcoming the new kindergarteners to school on their first day. The student council spent a few hours helping the kindergarteners learn how to eat lunch at school and playing with them at recess and in their classrooms. He said it was his best day ever!!! 

Paul and I went to dinner and Whose Live Anyway with Katie and Ben. It was a really fun night! We enjoyed visiting during dinner and laughed so hard during the show. It was a fun date night!

Squishies are a huge trend right now. Swig was giving a free squishy with each 32oz soda bought one day. Tessa and Damon were so excited! We waited in line for about half an hour, but they were thrilled with their squishies and their sodas. :)

There have been a couple mornings where the kids have unintentionally dressed matchy. So cute!

The Ham Fam got together at Mel’s while Matt & Lori were here for a weekend.

My dad and I tried to solve the world’s prodems, but I don’t think we made too much progress. Haha!
