Spring Break

We had a nice, relaxing Spring Break. The kids got lots of time to hang out with their friends. I took Tessa and Lexi, and Damon and Cody to Airborne one day. They loved that!
Rockwell stands on a book to even his legs out while he plays Beat Saber on the VR. Haha.
Damon and I played with his new volleyball.
We went to the Lindon Temple Open House with Al, Hallee, and Wyatt. Rockwell had already been through it on his own before he knew his foot was fractured. He took his boot off since the coverings couldn't fit over it, but he's not supposed to take it off except when sleeping now, so he decided not to join us this time. We missed having him there with us.
Damon helped me clean the car. :)
The boys went to Top Golf with Keith, Wyatt, and Cody.
They had a great time.
Rockwell had a taco night with his friends. It was so nice that they could be outside!
We had CrossNet set up in the front yard, and they had fun on the trampoline. Tessa walked past the window and told me that Damon was doing tricks on the tramp and all the friends were watching and clapping for him. :)
They're such nice, good teenagers!!
Julie came into town to watch Lindy's dance performances. Al & Keith invited the family over for a BBQ while she was there.
Tessa and Hallee played with Clara all night. They had so much fun!
It was great to be with everyone!

Easter

We had a nice Easter morning.

The kids enjoyed the egg hunt and sorting/trading their candy afterward.
Rockwell got a book and some money in his basket.
Tessa got Tiger Paws.
Damon got a new volleyball and a BYU hat.
We went to Al's for Easter dinner.
She made a delicious ham dinner for us all!
It was fun to visit with Grandpa Ham and Aunt Sandy.
Grandpa shared some thoughts about the power of Christ's Atonement and Resurrection with us.
Al & Keith made an egg hunt for all the grandkids.
It was great to spend Easter with the Ham Fam.

Tooele Meet

Tessa's last regular-season meet was in Tooele. Earlier that week, her coaches let everyone know that they had changed the qualifying score for Regionals and Nationals to 36.0 for levels 5-7. Tessa was so excited that she has now already qualified for Regionals and Nationals!!! She was glad to have some of that pressure taken off.
Arete started on bars. Tessa had a little mix-up and ended up doing two casts in between her kip and clear hip kip on high bar. Both the casts looked great, but that was an extra deduction. Look at that height on her cast!! So good!
She looked good otherwise and even stuck her landing. :)
She did well on beam.
The floor is really far away at the Tooele gym, so pictures weren't great. Tessa rolled her ankle on her first tumbling pass, and was in pain the rest of the time. I could tell she wasn't quite herself, but we were so far away I couldn't tell what had happened.
She pushed through the pain and did awesome on vault after that.
She had great power again!
Tessa took 2nd on vault with a 9.6
4th on bars with an 8.6
6th on beam with an 8.75
3rd on floor with a 9.65
4th All-Around with a 36.6
Arete took 1st as a team
