Around Our House

 Michigan football won the national championship on New Years Day!! It was so fun to watch their games all season, and so exciting when they won the championship!

Tessa was so excited to move into Young Women's. It's been so fun to have her there! She felt a little shy for the first few weeks, but she's feeling more comfortable now.

She was so so so excited to go to the temple and do baptisms for the dead. 

It was really special to be there with her.

Hallee and Wyatt came and spent the day with us a few weeks ago. They played for hours, got in the hot tub, ate McDonald's, and we went to the mall. It was a great day!

Damon has loved playing basketball. He's had a great team and a great coach that has taught the boys a lot. He loves that so many friends from school are on his team.

Rockwell has started playing volleyball. Vincent invited him to go to open gyms at Timpanogos with him. Aubrey was at the first open gym and called me to see if Rockwell wanted to join the rec team she coaches. He thought that sounded fun to play with Brig and Abby so I signed him up.

Rockwell's learning the game well and enjoying playing. He gets to play a few times a week with the open gyms and the team practices and games. We've enjoyed watching him try something new.

Paul, Tessa and Damon slipped almonds and roasted them. Paul did this all the time when he was a kid and wanted to teach the kids about it. The finished product didn't last long. :) We all devoured them by the next day. They were delicious!

Damon and I were building with the Click Sticks he got for Christmas, and he made some awesome faces with the googly eyes that were in the kit. :)

Paul, Tessa, Morgan and I went to a BYU gymnastics meet. The girls did each other's hair and face paint before we went. It was a really fun night!

Tessa, Damon and I did some science experiements one night. They thought those were so fun. Tessa loved making Oobleck. I had never felt it before, and I'll admit I was pretty fascinated by it. :)

Tessa, Damon and I went to the Ham Fam birthday party for the January and February birthdays. Sadly, Rockwell was sick and wasn't able to go to his own celebration. Darn.
