Alpha Invitational

 The track & field team got their picture taken for the yearbook.

Timpanogos hosted the Alpha Invitational. Rockwell ran the 4x800m relay with Deiderik, Brigham, and Soren. They worked on their baton pass-offs and looked much better with those this time.

Rockwell ran a great split!

They finished in 7th place with a time of 8:39.29.

Rock ran the 800m run also.

He had a crazy fast start, and then settled in with the front pack of runners.

I know these next couple pictures are blurry, but I want to show how incredible his finish was on this race. When he came around the bend for the last 100m, he was in the back of the front pack of guys. Once he hit the strait-away, he pulled out and around the group and was able to pass 8 kids!!

He looked like a total machine! It was incredible. 

He started the race in 30th place based on previous race times, and finished the race in 15th place. He seriously killed it!

Finish time was 2:03.42. Another PR. Great job Rockwell!!

I helped with a shift in the bull pen. It was absolutely freezing that day, so so cold. After four and a half hours, plus watching Rock race, I was chilled to the bone!! I went home and laid on a heating pad with two Minky blankets over me until I could stop shaking and get warm again.
