We picked a great day for Lagoon this year! We had a little break from the heat for a few days, and it made Lagoon a lot more enjoyable! We still went to Lagoon-a-Beach in the afternoon, but it was not busy at all. We didn't have to wait in much of a line for any of the slides, and we could relax and not feel squished in the lazy river. It was really nice!
Damon and Tessa wanted to try the Rocket.
The Screamer is one of Tessa's favorites.

The Samurai was finally open this year. It's been shut down every time we've gone in the past. Rockwell was really excited to try that one. He and Damon rode it and loved it, and then convinced Tessa to try it too.
We were shocked when Tessa decided she wanted to ride Cannibal. We were walking there, planning on the boys riding it and me taking Tessa to ride the Screamer. At the last second she turned left instead of right and said, "I'm going to ride it!" I've always been fine not riding it, but decided to join since Tessa was going. I definitely felt less sick on rides with the weather being cooler so I thought it was a good day to try it again. Tessa was sitting in between Paul and me, and when we went on the huge drop at the beginning, she blacked out. Paul and I were so concerned about her being okay, that I really didn't even notice the ride much. Poor thing just can't handle the intense roller coasters. She wakes right up, but it's pretty freaky to watch.
She really did not enjoy it and wanted to show her distaste for the ride in the picture. Haha.
The kids love getting Dip-n-Dots there.
And Rockwell loves getting his picture taken. :)
It was fun to see the peacocks in full display!
There are a few new rides in Pioneer Village.
And the kids wanted to try Rattlesnake Rapids this year.
They got drenched. :)
It was a fun day at Lagoon!!
