This & That

Damon performed at Hope of America.

We took Sawyer with us and they were so excited to get treats while they waited for the show to start.
It's a very cool patriotic program and I'm glad Damon's class decided to participate. Damon really enjoyed it.

Damon applied for Student Council for next year. He was thrilled when he got his letter congratulating him on being selected!! He's going to do great on Student Council! He's very responsible, a hard worker, has great ideas, and is a really good leader.

I took Tessa and Finlee to do baptisms at the Lindon Temple. It's so great that the temple is operating now! Rockwell and his friends have gone twice this week. We love love love having a temple this close!

Rockwell earned Academic Excellence this year. Way to go Rockwell!

Tessa had her last choir concert. She hasn't loved choir at the junior high like she did in elementary, so she won't be taking the class next year.
They sounded great though and we enjoyed hearing her sing one last time.

Vincent went over to Luke's last week and buzzed a few of the boys' hair. Rockwell was sad to see his curls go, but was ready for a simpler style for summer. Vince also convinced Rockwell to do an eyebrow slit. Rock was sleeping in on Monday (he doesn't feel the need to go to school the last week of school since he has all his work finished), and was woken up by Kennedy calling saying all the girls were dying their hair pink and they were on their way to pick Rockwell up to dye his pink too. It's hard to see the pink since Rockwell's hair is dark brown, but it's there. They also dyed the tiny part at the end of his eyebrow slit. Haha!

Tessa and Scout went to the high school to see the bunnies. There's a large population of bunnies on one of the fields at Timpanogos. This bunny was really friendly and the girls fell in love with her. Scout's parents said she could keep her for a pet and so they took her home. They named her Tilly, and Scout's parents said Tessa is her godmother and is welcome to go into their backyard anytime and play with her. Tessa is in heaven!!! Scout, Tessa, Mila and Brynn spent the weekend playing with Tilly. I went to run errands one day and saw the girls taking Tilly for a walk around the neighborhood in a wagon. It was so cute.
She drew Tilly for her daily sketch in art class. :)

Tessa made some cool stuff in her ceramics class this semester!
