Rockwell was so excited for the Young Men Campout in Moab!
The plan was to do some rappelling the first day, but they changed plans last minute and did some hikes instead. A few of the leaders had a really strong prompting the night before they left that they should not take the boys rappelling. They don't know what would have happened, but they trusted the prompting. I know these church camps take a lot of planning and preparation, and I'm sure it was hard to change plans last minute like that. I'm grateful that they listened and followed the Spirit though, and I think it was a really good lesson and example for the boys.
They hiked to Delicate Arch first.
And then to some towering rocks.
They spent the next few days mountain biking.
Rockwell loves biking!!
A lot of the boys decided to sleep under the stars the first night.
On the last morning a few leaders took Rockwell, CJ, Calvin and John to a more challenging trail. Rockwell loved that opportunity to fit in an extra ride.
