Life Lately

Paul, Damon and I went to help Grandpa Ham with a few things in his yard.

It was great to spend some time working alongside Grandpa!

Tessa and her ward friends love to hang out at the high school after their YW activities. I'm so grateful she has good friends in the neighborhood.

Damon made a cute jack-o-lantern witch for the Fall Festival at school. He got to help with running the games for student council for the first hour, and then got to enjoy the festival with his friends the rest of the night. He won his own 2-liter in the ring toss game. Haha.

I had been watching the colors of the leaves slowly change above Battle Creek Falls for a couple weeks. I could see a big stretch of colors and decided it was time to hike up there and see them up close.
It was overcast a lot of the hike, and the clouds looked cool up at the top.
I wasn't sure exactly how far I'd have to hike before I'd be able to see the colors, but I decided to hike until I could.
This hike kicks my booty every time, but it was worth it. It was so pretty up there!
