Everyday Adventures

Tessa went to Layla's birthday party, and was so excited to see Emily there. She has missed her now that she got married and doesn't live across the street anymore. Emily sent me this and said they were having so much fun hanging out. :)

The kids and I went to one of Caitlyn's tennis matches. She played great! I was very impressed.

Damon and I went to his field trip at the fire station. His favorite part was climbing through the truck.
He was King of the Jungle a few weeks ago at preschool. He thought that was so cool!

Rockwell went to Boston's birthday party. I took Wyatt up there with us, and Al kept Tessa and Damon at her house. It was quite the party! They swam, had a bounce house, a pinata, opened presents, and had dinner.
I just love Boston! He is always so happy, and makes people around him happy.
Rockwell had a blast, and I loved visiting with Katie and Audrey.

Damon and I have a lot of fun while during the days. He is obsessed with playing games right now. We play so many games every day!
One day we went and exercised on the trail.
He feels so cool when we sit in the hot tub. He loves to tell Tessa and Rockwell that he got to swim when they get home from school.

Tessa picked me a beautiful bouquet of fall colors one day. It's a good thing she did that day, because I swear that's how long Fall lasted this year! It has gotten freezing cold! We've already woken up to snow covering our lawn. It's way too early for that!

Fall Break

The kids and I swam in the hot tub to start off our Fall Break.
We met Al, Wyatt, and Hallee at Water Gardens to see Abominable. That was a really cute movie! Hallee and Wyatt came over to play after the movie. They always have so much fun together.
Paul had to work on Monday, but the kids had the day off. We met Al and Katie at Jaker's in Springville. The kids had a blast running around and getting filthy. :)
There were slides, wagon rides, hay mazes, corn mazes, a haunted house, and corn boxes. They were in heaven.
It was a fun Fall Break!

Provo Fury

Fall season of soccer has ended. Rockwell's team ended the season with winning their last two games. They were thrilled about that! Rockwell mostly played defense, and said he liked that a lot. He did great at it!
We went for ice cream after his last game to celebrate a fun season.
Coach Matt got the team tickets to a BYU Women's soccer game. They had pizza at Coach Kimball's house first and then went over to the game.
It was a cold night, but Rockwell had an absolute blast!
Keith went to the game to help with rides for the boys. Paul was in San Francisco for work that night, and so Keith brought Rockwell all the way home after the game so I didn't have to wake Tessa and Damon up or get a sitter for them. That was so kind of him! Thanks Keith!

Gary and Julie Come to Town

Julie has been wanting to take her family to see Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Mel found that it was playing at the Scera Theatre in Orem last month. It happened to be the same weekend as Julie's mission reunion, so they decided to come. The kids and I went up to my mom's Friday afternoon to play with everyone.
Poor Damon. It's hard being the only little one around. :)
Al invited everyone over to her house for dinner Saturday afternoon. That was sure nice of her to feed everyone!
Rockwell, Wyatt, and Kyle had a soccer game after dinner.
Jonah had a game at the same time. Since there were three boys in one game, everyone came to watch that one. We hear Jonah played great at his game too though. :)
They had quite the cheering section!
After the game, Rockwell and I headed over to the Scera to watch Joseph. It was a very entertaining play, and the talent of the actors was incredible. I really enjoyed it!
Rockwell had fun playing with Wyatt after the show while we all talked about how much we loved the play and said our goodbyes.
We had a family lunch on Sunday before Gary flew home. It's always fun to celebrate our birthdays with Paul's birthday buddy, Jonah.
We always love any chance we get to see Gary, Julie, and their kids!

Mom and Dad's Birthdays

Gary & Julie and their family were in town the weekend of Paul's birthday. I knew I would be spending a lot of time with the Ham Fam that weekend, so we decided to switch Paul and my birthday celebrations around. That way Paul was able to relax and be home more on "his birthday."
Paul was excited for his new phone, hair cutting set, and oil-dispensing bottles for cooking.
We sure love love love him!

I was thrilled with my tickets to see Phantom at Hale Center Theatre and tickets to see Little Big Town in concert!
