Life Lately

Al took Rockwell to Get Air with her family. He was so excited!

Tessa can read books all day long. I love that she loves reading so much.

Grandma Ham brought Tessa a potty training prize and certificate. She was so excited with her new microphone.

Grandpa Barth gave Rockwell a remote-control motorcycle for his birthday. It goes really fast, so we took it outside, and with a little practice Rockwell got pretty good at driving it around our cul-de-sac.
We all enjoyed watching him drive it.

Brother Chow was feeding the Best's dog some doggy treats while we were out weeding. Tessa was so excited when he let her feed Missy one too.

We love it when Dad can be home with us.

I took the kids on a walk on the trail by our house. I was hoping to be able to run while they rode their bikes, but no such luck. It was more of a chase butterflies, blow dandelions, inspect every bug, play peek-a-boo with the stroller kind of walk.
Rockwell sure looked cute pushing his brother while I carried his bike though. :)

Cute!

We did a birthday dinner for Grandpa Barth.  The weather was great. It was fun to be outside all evening.

Damon loves when the kids hide in blankets or towels. He laughs and growls and tackles and rolls all over the blanket.

Rockwell read a Frog and Toad story to Damon and Tessa. Damon lost interest pretty quickly when he couldn't close the book, throw it on the floor, or tear the pages out. :) Tessa thought it was great though!

  2. Great pictures, especially the one of pirate Damon! He's the cutest pirate I've ever seen! I love the one of Rockwell reading to Tessa and Damon, too! Actually, I love them all!
