Everyday Adventures

Tessa had a field trip to the Dinosaur Museum this month. The kids always love going there.

Paul's school had a Dynamic Duo day during Spirit Week. Paul Barth & Joe were the duo PB&J

Damon is such a champ about going to all of his siblings' games, practices, and dance. We hang out in the van during Tessa and Hallee's dance while Al takes Rockwell and Wyatt to their soccer practice. He doesn't seem to mind being dragged around to all of their activities.
Rockwell has made some really great improvement in soccer this season. He's doing great with controlling the ball down the field. Their team is doing great at passing and working together. I think the big field and goalies has really been good for his skill level. He is still super fast and does a great job of being aggressive with the ball.
And he absolutely loves playing with Wyatt again!
Grandma Ham came to watch one of their games. It was freezing!
The whole team was at the game today, so we did team pictures. It's been a fun season.

We went to the dentist this week. All the kids got their teeth cleaned, no problem. It was adorable to watch Damon run over and hop right into the chair, and then hear him chatting with the hygienist and dentist. He looked so tiny in the chair and yet seemed so grown up!

Al took Tessa to watch Wyatt's program at school. She was so excited to go with them and to play at their house for a while.

We had Hallee over to play one afternoon when Al wasn't feeling well. Tessa has loved all the time she's been able to play with Hallee lately.

Paul has done a lot of painting this weekend. He re-stained the whole fence and painted the swingset. It all looks great.
Damon loved when Paul made the tree snow on him. :)

We went to Audrey and Jason's for a game night last night. It's always a good time with these friends!
The Jazz playoff game was on so we were able to watch that too. This is how Audrey watched the last 4 minutes. They were intense! :)

More Life Lately

The weather has been crazy this spring. Whenever it's warm, I try to get outside with the kids. Damon and I have been slowly working on all the dandelions in our yard.
The kids spend a lot of time jumping and swinging on warm days.

This bubble machine is a wonderful invention!

We met Al and Hallee at a park one day. It was super crowded, but the kids didn't seem to mind. Tessa and Damon were adorable to watch. They held hands running around the park, and Tessa always made sure Damon was included with her and Hallee. There was one point when Tessa and Hallee were on the spinning wheel, but Damon hadn't gotten there yet. A man was starting to spin it and Tessa was yelling at him to stop because her baby brother was coming! He didn't listen, so Tess was literally dragging her feet trying to stop it so Damon could get on. So funny, and so sweet.

And then there are the snowstorm days. It amazes me how it can go back and forth every few days.

This boy. He keeps us laughing. We were at Costco and an older man stopped by us to look at the same stuff we were. Damon looked at him and said, "Hi mister!" The guy seemed to like that and they had a little conversation about shopping.

I called Damon up to his room to get dressed and when he walked in he got this look on his face and asked me, "Mom, why does your hair look like that?" I told him I just wanted to put it in a ponytail today and he responded, "I don't like it like that!" Thanks buddy! :)

Paul and I went to Whose Line Is It Anyway Live at Kingsbury Hall with Katie and Ben. We went to Red Robin for dinner before the show. It was such a fun date! We laughed the whole time. A night of nonstop laughter and great friends is so good for the soul!

We sure love going to Rockwell's soccer games.

He gets to play with Wyatt before practice on Wednesdays, and he loves that! They are just the best of buddies.

We picked Hallee up from school yesterday and had her over to play while Al was helping Kristin move. It was fun to have her over for the afternoon. Her and Tess are the best of buddies too.

We were so excited to buy The Greatest Showman last week. I love to watch Tess and Damon sing along and dance while we watch it.

I registered Tessa for kindergarten. It is going to be so hard for Damon when she goes to school every day. He is definitely going to miss her!

Life Lately

Rockwell finished his basketball season.

And has moved onto soccer in Provo. This league is a lot different than what he's done in Lindon previously. The field is much bigger and they're allowed to use goalies. The first game was a little rough, but they've learned a lot about spreading out on the field and teamwork since then. They've done great in the last few games. Rockwell scored one goal, and he was thrilled about that.

Tessa, Damon and I went to the Spirit Bowl at Paul's school. This year I was prepared with headphones for the kids.
Paul shot the bow and arrow in the relay race, and played crab soccer. The theme this year was superheroes, villains, sidekicks, and Agents of Shield.

We've made a couple fires lately. It's one of our favorite things to do.

Rockwell had Market Day at school. He made and sold shell necklaces.

We met Mel and Al at Murray Park one day over Spring Break. They were taking EJ's senior pictures, so we joined them to play with cousins.

Damon wanted me to sit at the tables and "just talk" with him. I asked what he wanted to talk about and he said Boss Baby. It was adorable!

We went and played at Paul's school one day over spring break too.

The kids sure love to wrestle with Dad!
