Life Lately

Paul had the Murphy-Barth-Allphin movie night this month. He worked so hard for this event and it turned out awesome!!

They chose the movie Wonka and Paul made a Wonka Bar for every guest, some with golden tickets inside.

The golden ticket winners won things like eye massagers, Minky blankets, Stanley cups, and even a TV. It was so fun to watch everyone open their Wonka Bar and the people who found golden tickets get so excited! It was awesome. Their clients really enjoy these events, and it's a great way for Paul, Theron, and Josh to connect with people and create the relationships that result in repeat clients, new clients, and referrals.

Tessa and I went to Hallee's dance recital. She always does such a great job, and she did it again this time. :)
Tessa always loves to watch Hallee perform.

Tessa made 200 stickers for her class market. It was a lot of work, and we spent a couple Saturdays working on it together. I enjoyed spending that time with her and getting to talk while we worked. The stickers turned out super cute too.

Rockwell made a crazy straw in one of his classes at school. He thought that was so much fun.

Tessa had a blast at her team Christmas party. She was so excited to come home with her new leo, warm-ups, and an Arete Christmas ornament.

I went to the Christmas Sing at the elementary school. They always sing such cute songs.

I helped in Tessa's class Christmas party. It's been weird this year with none of the teachers needing my help each week. I've liked to help in the parties so I can see a little bit of what class is like for the kids this year.

Hallee & Wyatt Stay for the Weekend

Keith's company took a few employees to Maui for a week!! I loved seeing Al & Keith's pictures from their trip and hearing their stories of experiencing Hawaii. Lindy stayed with their kids through the week, and then Hallee & Wyatt came and stayed with us over the weekend. It was my kids' dream come true! They were so excited. It was so fun to hear all 5 of them laughing and playing games together Friday night.

Saturday morning was our ward Christmas party, and the boys wanted to go and the girls didn't. :) Paul took all the boys over while I stayed home with the girls and got Tessa ready for her inner squad gymnastics meet. It's quite the process to get Tessa's hair ready for a meet. :) After the ward party, Rockwell and Wyatt walked over to Oak Canyon and went sledding while the rest of us went to Tessa's meet. Her Level 4 team this year is Kezzie, Tessa, Morgan, Clancee, and Lexi.
I was so excited to see Tessa's floor routine to Juicy Wiggle!! It was so fun to watch the Level 4 girls each have their own unique routine.
She looked great on beam!!
Her bars routine was awesome too. She has her kip and jump to high bar. Both are tough skills and she's worked so hard to get those!
And she looked great on vault too!
I love that they do this inner squad meet at the beginning of the season. The judges wrote notes on their score cards telling them what they can do to improve. It's really helpful to get specific feedback like that. Grandma and Grandpa Ham made a lot of trips down here this month!! We sure appreciate their support for each of our children.
We spent the rest of the afternoon hanging around home. The boys got in the hot tub.
The girls did some crafts.
Rockwell and Wyatt made themselves some Dr Pepper floats. :)
After church on Sunday, the kids all just enjoyed hanging out together again. They were playing Grounded For Life while we were making dinner and absolutely laughing their heads off. I loved it!
It was so fun to have them stay for the weekend! And I'm so glad Al & Keith were able to go to Maui and have a break and live the resort life for a while!

Everyday Adventures

Rockwell got to spend the day with Wyatt while we did Tessa's birthday party. They had a great time playing Balloon Don't Touch the Ground with Jonah's lacrosse sticks. :)

Damon's good friend Jacob moved to Missouri last month. We tried to get the boys together to play as much as we could before they left. It's so hard when a friend moves away. :( Damon asked for a picture so he can hang it on his wall. We'll miss Jacob for sure!

Tessa had her first choir concert. It was so fun to watch! They sounded great and Tessa enjoyed performing, especially with her friends that are in choir with her.
It was so nice of Grandma and Grandpa to come down, even though there was terrible traffic!

Paul and I went to dinner and a movie with Matt & Marissa when they were here over Thanksgiving. We all really enjoyed The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

We got the house decorated for Christmas.

We went to the Orem Temple open house as a family. It's a beautiful temple and Tessa is getting really excited to be able to go and do baptisms next month!

Rockwell had his Christmas concert for band. Since he's first chair clarinet, he stands up and tunes the band before the conductor comes on stage. He was nervous about doing it, but he did awesome!!
They sounded great and it was so nice of Grandma Clark and Grandma & Grandpa Ham to come down again.

After the concert, Tessa and I hurried over to the Young Women activity. Mila went with Talia and wanted Tessa to come be her partner for buddy yoga. It was a really fun activity. :)
Audrey and Tessa did some awesome poses too. :)

Grandma Clark's Birthday

We had the family over to celebrate Grandma Clark's birthday and eat a delicious Mexican feast. :)

Emilie made her a beautiful and delicious cake. I think this one was my favorite so far! Also, I think I say that every time I try another one of her cakes. :)
This picture totally reminded me of Tessa's picture while we were singing to her. Like Grandma, like granddaughter. Ha!
We played Chase the Ace after dinner. Carrie captured these magical shots and we all laughed so hard. :) They're the gift that keep on giving.
It was a really fun night with the family!!
