Tessa went through the Lindon Temple Open House with the Young Women.
She couldn't stop talking about how beautiful and peaceful it was. She said she was sad they could only spend 5 minutes in the Celestial Room, she wanted to stay longer. She can't wait to go through it again.
Tessa can see the temple from the windows in her classrooms at school. She's been so excited to go inside!
Paul and I went to Grandma Clark's choir concert. They did a combined concert with the Salt Lake Chinese Choir. It was a beautiful show and it was fun to see the family.
Al, Mel, and I went to Grandpa Ham's house for dinner and a movie. Dad mixed us up a delicious salad with lots of toppings to add in.
Our ward got to help with the Lindon Temple Open House.
Our assigned time was a Friday from 12:00-4:30. Tessa and Rockwell loved that they got to help, and that they got checked out of school to do it. :) Rockwell and Tessa helped with the shoe coverings, Tessa got some time to be an usher, and I was a tour guide. There are a lot of stairs in the Lindon Temple, and my legs were quite tired from going up and down them for 4 1/2 hours straight. It was so cool to help out though. I loved getting all that time walking all throughout the temple, and helping others get to see the rooms and what we do there. It was a very cool experience!
Rockwell and I helped out at the Alpha Invitational track meet. With Rockwell's stress fracture in his foot, he's going to miss out on this whole track season. It's such a bummer. He has gone to help out and watch most the meets. I'm glad he's still able to be with the team there since he can't be at practice anymore.
