Bear River Cabins

There was another great deal at the Bear River Cabins, so we decided to go again with Al & Keith and Katie & Ben.
We love it up there. We don't get any cell phone service or internet, and it's beautiful everywhere you look. The kids had a blast playing on the stage, swinging, playing inside the cabins, and building a fort.

The deal came with a 4-wheeler rental for the day. Our 4-wheeler wasn't working, so they gave us a Ranger instead. Katie and Ben ended up with a side-by-side, which meant there was something that everyone enjoyed riding in. We all shared throughout the day, and had a ton of fun.
Damon really liked the ride until he got too cold. I had plenty of gear to keep him warm, but he wouldn't keep any of it on.
It's so pretty up there. There were trails all over the place. It was fun to explore.
When the kids were finished with riding in the Ranger, Paul took it out for a while by himself. He rode all around and just enjoyed being out of range of all things work-related. Paul and I took a turn on the 4-wheeler later in the day, and he took me to a perfect camping spot he found by the river. We'll go there when the kids are older. :)
The 4-wheeler was a lot of fun. I haven't been on one in about 20 years.
I took Tessa out on the side-by-side after that. We went to a huge RV parking lot that was empty. She wanted to drive, so I let her there. She loved that!
It was a super fun weekend with family, friends, food, and fun!
