Damon played coach-pitch baseball this summer in Lindon. Sadly he missed half the season while we were in Hawaii, but he sure loved the two weeks he was able to play when we got home.
Paul played catch with him a few times to help him get used to his mitt before his first practice.
In the middle of his first game, he ran out of the dugout over to us in the bleachers. He said, "Mom! I love baseball and want to play it forever!!" It was adorable!
Grandma Clark came down for a game, and Damon loved that!!
It was so nice of family to drive down and sit in the heat to watch him play!
The kids were all so cute to watch. Some of them would fill their gloves with sand, some would take it seriously, some were chasing butterflies, and some weren't going to do anything they didn't feel like doing that day! Haha. :) Damon loved it and definitely wants to play again.
I can't handle how cute that first picture is! I'm so glad we got to see him play and I'm glad we came on a day that wasn't so hot!
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing him play also and was so glad we made it to one of his games! He was so great and seemed to be serious about it so he must have really loved it!
