Life Lately

 I hiked Willow Creek Lake Trail with my dad and Mel.

There was a mama duck with her babies at the lake. They waddled right up to us and were so cute!

It was a beautiful hike and so nice to be out in the mountains with Mel and Dad again.

While Tessa and Rockwell were both gone at Youth Conference and XC Camp, Damon got some undivided attention from Paul and me. We told him he could plan the evening one day, and he chose Leatherby's for dinner and then playing night games with his friends.

His friends all met at Northridge and they played all sorts of games. He loved seeing his friends again!

Tessa pulled her hip flexor right before we went to Hawaii. We were hoping that resting it for two weeks while we were on vacation would fix the problem, but it did not. It still hurt just as bad when we got home, so we took her to a physical therapist. It took some time, but they were able to get her back to normal.

We love it when the kids have their friends over. Tessa and Hallee played games with Damon, Sawyer, and Tristan one day. It's always fun to listen to them laugh together.

Tessa was hanging out at Hallee's and Caitlyn took them to Chick-Fil-A and got them shakes. Cait was employee of the month, so she got a bunch of free food for the month and she shared with Tess and Hallee. Tessa loved that!
