Our stake hosted Festival 2025 in August. The church puts out a concert of inspiring songs and encourages stakes to make it their own and create a fun activity for the youth to participate in a concert. Our Stake Youth Leadership Committee split into committees, and I worked with Brooklyn and Ben on decorations and a photo booth.
We were very happy with how the photo booth turned out!! None of us had ever made one before, but we figured it out and thought it turned out great!
This Youth Committee was awesome and we enjoyed working with them for a year!
There were 5 stakes invited (about 1,000 youth!). We had games and food for the first hour and then the concert after that.
Miquelle sent Talia and me this picture. Scout's grandpa is in one of the stakes that came. :)
This was a huge event and it was so much work. It was a success though, and it was neat to see that many youth gathered in a beautiful setting listening to Christ-centered music. The kids love it. Us leaders are looking forward to a different stake hosting it next year though. :)
The photo booth looks great! I'm glad it went well, I know you put a ton of work into that.
