Our beautiful Tessa Girl is a teenager!!
Tessa is doing great in 7th grade. She has made a lot of new friends at the Junior High and she's been very responsible with managing 8 classes. She says she doesn't love school, but she's doing great nonetheless.
Tessa still loves gymnastics. She's on level 5 and spends four days a week there for practice, over 3 hours each day. That's a lot of time, but she loves being there with her friends. She's working hard and has learned a lot of new skills. She's getting really excited for meet season to start soon.
Tessa loves hanging out with her friends, doing nails, and babysitting. She's gotten really good at nail art and her friends love when she does their nails. She spends most Fridays and Saturdays with her friends since she doesn't have gymnastics on the weekends. She still loves Mac & Cheese, she loves rollerblading, and loves all things girly: make-up, skin care, trying new hair styles, and clothes. She keeps us all laughing and makes everything more fun.
We love love love you Tessa and are so grateful you're in our family!!!
Paul made crepes for breakfast on her birthday, and Rockwell gave her his gift before school since he was leaving for Arizona that morning.
Tessa's birthday was on a Wednesday this year so she got out of school early. She and I decorated for Christmas when she got home.
She opened the rest of her presents when Paul and Damon got home from school.
She was excited for some money, cherry mugs, nail tools, cherry soap, and Jolly Rancher ropes.
We asked if she wanted one more present... I had built a vanity and it was hiding in our bedroom. She was so excited about the vanity!! We moved it into her room and it fits great.
She wanted Denny's for dinner.
After dinner she went to Luminaria with the Young Women. She said that was really awesome.
We had ice cream when she got home. It was a great day for her!
Tessa wanted two parties this year. She wanted to go to a trampoline park with Morgan and Lexi, and then have her school friends over to our house. Morgan was out of town on the only day we could do her party, but luckily Lexi could come!
They had a great time at Hang Time.
That night Hallee, Emily, Evelyn, Alyssa, and Maya came over. They ate pizza and watched a movie in the back yard.
Everyone gave her fun, generous gifts.
They watched Home Alone under the stars. They were having so much fun that most of them stayed quite a bit later than the party ended. :)
