This & That

Tessa had her first choir concert at Oak Canyon. They sounded really good! I was impressed.

Hallee and Al came and Tessa loved that!

Hallee had a choir concert the next week and Tessa and I went to that. They sounded great too!
Damon's favorite thing to do right now is ride scooters, especially at the skate park. He bought himself a scooter that is better for tricks. He and Sawyer love to ride together.
Tessa spent a whole weekend at her gym. They had a Halloween party Friday night and the team girls helped out with running the spook alley.
On Saturday there were three rec meets and the team girls danced to Thriller to start each of the meets. It was a really fun dance. They stayed through the afternoon to help run the meets. She loved all that time at the gym with her friends!

There was a Worldwide Youth Devotional, and our presidency split up and each attended with two wards in our stake. I let the 4th Ward Young Women President know I was going to join them and she said to meet them at the Lindon Temple. I wasn't sure what to expect exactly, but it turned out that they were watching the devotional inside the temple. It's not open to the public or dedicated yet, but their Bishop is the maintenance manager and got special permission to have his youth watch the devotional in the training room.
We got to tour the entire temple. It's beautiful. It will have two baptismal fonts, which the youth were excited about. We even got to go out on the roof. I've been so excited for this temple to be built and it was such a cool surprise to be able to walk through it and spend time in it so soon.
We spent 5 minutes of reverence in the Celestial Room before starting the devotional. I loved listening to the youth bear their testimonies after the broadcast. It was a really cool experience.
