Damon got to go to Paul's library before school while Tessa and I were in California. He loved that!
Kyle and Paige stayed with us for a few days while they were here for a ski vacation. We got to play games with them in the evenings and Lindy came over one night too. It was fun to have them here!
Damon's been playing in a 6v6 league with Salt City Boys. He played great in his tournament a couple weeks ago. He and Paul passed the ball for a bit before we headed home.
Tessa didn't want to have a Valentine this year. She handled it very well when she told a boy no thank you. :) Her friends did Galentine's instead. She and Finlee made each other really cute baskets of gifts.
Caitlyn decided to go through the temple, and she chose the Taylorsville Temple on February 10th, which was Grandma Ham's birthday. Matt and Lori flew in to be there with her. I met them and Mel at the cemetery that morning to visit Grandma's grave.
It was nice to spend some time there and visit and remember how amazing Mom is.
We went to lunch at Mo' Bettahs and then spent the afternoon at Mel's with her daughters and grandkids. It was so fun!! I sure love those babies!
Paul came up that evening and met us at the temple. Gary, Cody, and Elena all flew in and Lindy came too. It was awesome to be there with Caitlyn and so much of the family.
I was running on the Lindon Heritage Trail and there was a radar speed sign on the road right next to the trail. There is a really funny scene from The Office where people are racing to see who can run the fastest. Michael runs at the same time as a car passing and claims that's his record, even though that speed is humanly impossible. I waited for a car to pass, and then ran with it and took a picture of the speed. The numbers flash when the car is going over 25 so the number didn't show up perfectly, but you can still tell I (the car) was going 30 mph. Haha. I sent it to my family and friends who are Office fans and said "Take that Michael Scott!!" They got a kick out of it!!!
I went to wake Tessa up one morning and found her completely upside down in her bed. She's still such a wild sleeper!
