Tessa's next meet was in Evanston, Wyoming.
They started on floor again and Tessa did great.
Next was vault. She's getting better and better on vault now that she can practice it again. :)
She's also getting better and better on bars.
She looked really good on this routine, but she wasn't happy when she saw her score (8.675). She added the three scores in her head real quick and realized she wasn't going to reach 37 in the all-around. We could see she was letting this affect her whole attitude. They need an all-around score of 37 to qualify for Regionals and Nationals so that's what they're trying for at every meet.
She looked totally defeated on her beam routine after that.
You can see her coach's face after Tessa picked her wedgie in the middle of her routine. That's a deduction and the girls all know not to do that! It was sad to watch her give up before she even started this event.
She took 1st on vault with a 9.25
3rd on bars with an 8.675
5th on beam with an 8.8
2nd on floor with a 9.4
They did the awards ceremony different at this meet, and it took a real long time. This group of girls spent a lot of time together waiting for each time they went up on stage. By the all-around medals, you could tell they had started to really have some fun together. As each of their names were called, they would each dab and were laughing through it all. It was cute to watch them!
She took 2nd All-Around with a 36.125
Arete took 2nd place for the team awards.

Picked her wedgie 😂
