The kids had the day off school on my birthday. I really wanted to get out in the mountains and do a hike. Tessa, Damon and I hiked to Upper Falls.
It was beautiful up there!
The kids made me sweet cards and the family gave me thoughtful and fun presents. It was such a difficult time that week, so I was pretty emotional all day, but it was nice to spend the day with my little family.
I sure love them! We played the new game I got for a present (Really Loud Librarians) after dinner. It was really fun.
I’m glad it was a nice day even though it was such an emotional time.
