Matt & Lori Visit Utah

Lori, Cody, and Elena came to town last week. It was fun to spend some more time with them. We hiked to Bridal Veil Falls one day. We all had fun playing in the water.

It's just the cutest thing to watch Tessa do everything with her cast on. It sure didn't slow her down from climbing up the waterfall with the rest of the kids.

We played at Grandma's house with all the cousins one day.
Matt flew in Friday night too. We had a BBQ at Grandma's and celebrated all the summer birthdays. It's always fun when Matt & Lori come to visit!

Around Our House

Damon thought it was so funny to spray himself in the face with a squirt bottle.

The kids have had fun doing some crafts lately. There have been very few things Tessa has needed extra help with since getting her cast on, but crafting is one of them. I decided to save the rest of the crafts I got for summer until she has both arms available. It's much more fun for both of us when she can do it all by herself.

Damon and Tessa were dancing to the music from a kindle game Rockwell was playing. It was adorable to watch!

We played at Al's house on 7/11 and got free Slurpees while we were there.

Boston came over to play one day. The kids all had so much fun playing together. They rode bikes, had lunch, and built some pretty cool car tracks.
We took Boston through the car wash on the way home too. Damon asks all day long to go to the car wash. We have definitely got our money's worth at the car wash this month. :)

We went for a walk to pass out some papers for church, and Damon looked so old and so cute riding his bike around the neighborhood.

We switched the kids' rooms around, and now the boys are sharing and Tessa gets her own room. The boys have had fun playing basketball in their room together and Tessa has liked having her own space where she can shut the door and play by herself. Damon thought it was awesome to sleep in the same room as Rockwell the first night. The next day when I told Damon it was time for his nap he said okay, and then started calling for Rockwell, "Rockwell! Come on! Go sleep!" He was sad when he realized Rockwell wouldn't be in there for nap time. :)

We met Paul's family at Blue Iguana to celebrate Brent's 50th birthday. The food was delicious, and it's always fun to see everybody.

Aren't they cute?!

Birthday Parties

Rockwell went to Wyatt's swimming party last week. He had a blast at his BCF's party. Rockwell told me that he and Wyatt are now BCFs instead of BFFs. Best Cousins Forever. :)
Rockwell had so much fun at the party!
I brought Hallee home with us when I dropped Rockwell off at the party. We have an unlimited pass at the car wash this month, so we went there on the way home. I love how much kids love the car wash.

Tessa got to go to Hallee's birthday party last week too. She invited Tessa and Caitlyn and had a really long party with lunch, dancing, making crowns, playing, and watching Moana.
Tessa had a blast spending all that time with Hallee. She also loved holding Jackson during the movie.
This time I took Wyatt home with us when I dropped Tessa off at the party. I took the boys through the car wash too, and then they had fun riding bikes and playing together all afternoon.

Life Lately

I took Tessa to her pediatrician to get her cast on. She chose blue.
Within a few hours her swelling must have gone down, because we could just pull her cast right off. So I took her back in, and she had to get a higher cast on. This time she chose purple. While we were eating dinner she said, "Look! My cast looks like I'm flexing my muscles." Haha.

We put Tessa in a dance class for July. She was so excited to dance again, especially with Hallee in her class.

We went over to Al's one day after dance to play.
Al took Rockwell with her kids and Mel to see a movie that afternoon. I love these studly boys!

Paul was fixing the door in the kids' bedroom, and Damon was happy to get his tool belt on and help. Not pictured, was Paul's shorts ripping from top to bottom while standing up after fixing the door. Haha! :)

The kids loved the animal pancakes that Paul made for them one morning.

Tessa had a preschool activity last week. They got to make snake puppets and the Bean Museum came and did a show. I love that Mrs. Roxi does summer activities so the kids can meet her and get acquainted with her house. The kids got to pet a live snake and a stuffed penguin at the end of the show.
