Rockwell asked if he could have two parties, one with his friends from school, and one with Wyatt and Boston. They're getting old enough that he would probably feel torn between the two groups if they were all together at one party, so I said that was fine. He decided to go to Hang Time with his school friends. Aiden, Ashton and Logan came over and we opened presents. (Ezra ended up with a sick stomach that day and so he wasn't able to make it.) They're super nice kids and I'm glad Rockwell has chosen good friends.
They had a blast at Hang Time and I loved watching them have fun and wear themselves out for an hour.
For his party with Wyatt and Boston, he said he wanted a Minecraft party and he wanted to do a scavenger hunt around the cul-de-sac. They started out by playing Minecraft for a bit and then opened presents.
He love love loves the presents Wyatt and Boston gave him. He has used his Minecraft sword a ton, and he was stoked about his 11 bags of popcorn with 11 dollars on them. I love Wyatt's face in this picture when he realized what was in the bag. These boys sure love their popcorn!
The scavenger hunt took a lot of creativity to come up with, but I think Rockwell loved it so it was totally worth it. Each clue had something to do with Minecraft, and something that they had to solve to know where to find the next clue. I figured with three smart 11-year-old boys I could make it pretty tricky. :)
They were excited about their Minecraft treasures at the end of their hunt.
They spent the rest of the party playing outside. It does my heart good to see Rockwell with his friends. They're all such good boys and Rockwell just loves being with them.
The parties looked perfect! Good job Tiffany! I especially loved the picture of Wyatt's face when Rockwell opened his 11 popcorns with $11 attached. That's so great that Rockwell has such nice good boys for friends!
