The banquet and awards ceremony for Paul's Accent on Excellence Award was last week. The banquet was delicious, and it was fun to get to visit with Joe and his wife at our table. The awards ceremony was great. I loved listening to teachers being praised and appreciated. There were a few students who came and spoke about their teacher, and that was really cool.
Along with the trophy each of the 22 award winners received, they also were given a check for $500 and a string of pearls for the females and a watch for the males.
I love love love when Paul is recognized for all the good that he does at his job. I'm grateful that he was given this award, and that so many people expressed their appreciation for the impact he has at the school.
Rockwell was at his young men's activity that night, and so Aubrey offered to have Tessa and Damon over. That was so nice of her, and the kids loved getting to play there with their friends.
I'm so glad Paul got some much deserved recognition!
