Happy birthday to our Damon Boy!
I really can't believe my baby is 3 years old. While we were driving in the car the other day Damon was making a noise that Rockwell didn't like. Rockwell shushed him and Damon replied, "Let me make that noise Gock-el. I'm just a baby!" If you can say that, pretty sure you're not a baby anymore! Haha! He really is a kid now, but I totally understand why the youngest kid of the family is always considered the baby.
Damon loves loves loves to be outside. He loves to swing, jump on the tramp, play with bubbles, ride bikes, do anything where water is involved, and just run.
Damon loves to play with Tessa. They play dogs, stuffed animals, read books, build with blocks, make games up on the slide. He's up for anything she wants to do, he's just happy to be with her.
Damon and Rockwell get along great most of the time. Sometimes Rockwell is a little rough with Damon, and that's not his favorite. But when they find something they both enjoy, they laugh and laugh and it's adorable to listen to!
Damon is in the "why" phase for sure. He asks it all day every day. He is curious about everything and loves to help us with anything we're doing.
Things that Damon says all the time: "Actually...never mind." "Oh, I forgot." "Why?" "When will we get there?" Whenever he goes out to play in the back yard he does the cutest wave and says, "Bye bye. See you later!" Whether he wants ketchup or ranch, he asks for "ranchup."
He likes to show off for people. As soon as he starts trying to make people laugh he calls everyone and everything "kuku."
Oh how we love our Damon Boy!!
Paul made crepes for breakfast.
We went to Tessa's dance show and then opened presents when we got back. He loved his bike, desk, water spray stick, and stuffed doggy.
We played outside when we could, but when it was too rainy Damon wanted to dance inside. We had a fun dance party before dinner. He liked his brownies and ice cream for dessert. It was a fun day celebrating Damon Boy!
