Paul and Rockwell went to Elijah's championship football game last Saturday. I wish I could have gone too, but I don't think Tessa and Damon would have done too well there.
When my family came over on Tessa's birthday, Damon snuggled up to Mel and let her rock him for about 15 minutes before he fell asleep on her. It was precious.
Rockwell read a few Sam books to Grandma.
Here's Tessa and me grocery shopping. Yep, we're sitting in our warm van, listening to music while a Macey's employee brought our groceries out and loaded them into our van. It's a new service offered, and it only costs $2, and I'm pretty sure I am going to be using this a lot!
Damon has moved up a size of clothes, and is wearing a lot of clothes Rockwell wore as a baby. It's so fun to dress Damon in them and remember baby Rockwell in them.
Rockwell started learning hand stands in gymnastics this week and is getting pretty good at backward rolls on a flat mat.
I took the kids to the Lighting of the Riverwoods. There were various musical performers, Santa came, and the lighting of the Riverwoods was beautiful with fireworks and Christmas lights everywhere. It got pretty cold, so we didn't stay too long but it was a fun event to go to.
Damon got his 3rd (and much-needed) haircut.
Before After
Paul and I went to the BYU vs Fresno State football game on Saturday. My mom came and watched all the kids, and it was great to go on a date with Paul. I have a feeling he's going to be very busy until Christmas break, so I'm glad I could spend some time with him.
We finished decorating our house for Christmas this weekend. It's so funny to watch the battle between Rockwell and Paul over the color of the lights on the Christmas tree. You can choose for them to be white or colored. The kids love the colored ones, but our ornaments definitely look better with the white lights. Paul conceded last year to let Rockwell have the colored lights, but turned it to white as soon as the kids were in bed. Rockwell caught on to this and would sneak out of bed and change them back to colored. They both drove each other crazy, and it cracked me up.
