We had another great Christmas Eve with the Ham Fam this year. Dinner was delicious and we loved doing all our traditions. We watched the Nativity story and then acted it out while Grandpa read the story from Luke. My kids love riding and being the donkeys. :)
I read a quote that Grandma had found about what Joseph must have been feeling and thinking on the night Jesus was born. And then we played Christmas Bingo.
Next was the Grab Box.
And then we exchanged gifts with the siblings and parents. The Reives were super generous and we loved their thoughtful gifts. They got the kids their favorite treats, stuffed animals, and art supplies. And we are excited to do the puzzles as a family! Caitlyn and Amarie got Grandma and Grandpa these books, and had all the grandkids answer a few of the questions in them. That was such a thoughtful present, and I know Grandma and Grandpa will love those forever.
Matt and Lori and I found these pajamas when we were doing our Black Friday shopping and fell instantly in love with them. They're such fancy-looking moose pjs. :)
We finished the night with yummy desserts and loved our time spent with the Ham Fam.
Fun traditions!
