Christmas morning was great this year!!
Santa brought Damon the movie Abominable.
He brought Tessa her own Christmas tree. She was thrilled that he even put decorations and a star on it because she didn't ask for those.
And he brought Rockwell some new Legos.
They all loved their new art portfolios that we got for them.
Rockwell was so excited about his Sharpie set.
Tessa loves her unicorn.
Damon loves his brain flakes.
They all love their new pajamas.
Tessa went nuts over the dog, food dish, and bones that Rockwell gave her.
I really didn't take too many pictures this year. But I am so glad I happened to have my camera out when she opened Rockwell's present. This is my favorite picture of the day!
I'm just realizing now as I'm blogging that I didn't get a single picture of Paul or me, but we were there and had a wonderful Christmas morning. Paul got me a full set of the Harry Potter books for the bookshelves and a new workout I've been wanting to try. I got him a leveling tool for our lawn and a BlendJet.
We got a big family present this year: a trip to Hawaii!!! We're leaving for Kauai next week and we're all so so so excited! We wrapped up a snorkel and goggles for Damon to open, an underwater camera for Tessa to open, and then Rockwell unwrapped a paper that told them we're going to Hawaii.
Paul and I decided a while ago that we really want to go to Hawaii. We've been patiently waiting for a good deal on flights to come up, and it happened a few weeks ago. We chose Kauai because it's a less touristy island and it's more of an outdoorsy/adventurous place. I still can't believe we're actually going, but I am so excited to spend all that time with my little family and make memories with them. I can't wait to go!!
You'll have so much fun in Hawaii!
