Wednesday morning we left the Grand Canyon and headed to Las Vegas. There were many many naps taken in the van on all of our drives. :)
Jake slept every time we were driving, and he would let Damon play games on his phone while he napped. Damon loved that!!
After we got checked into Tahiti Village, we headed out to the Strip to see the Jabbawockeez.
This show was so much fun!! The dancing was amazing, the music was great, they had humor, the laser effects were awesome. It was just a great show!
They came out into the audience a lot, so they were dancing right in front of us and giving the kids high fives.
It was a very loud show, but seriously such a fun one!
Thursday morning we went to do baptisms in the Las Vegas Temple.
Paul stayed back with Tessa and Damon this time, and they enjoyed swimming at Tahiti Village.
The rest of us joined them when we got back from the temple.
That night we went to The Tournament of Champions at the Excalibur. Most of us ended up in Romania.
But a few were in Ireland.
Rockwell was more than happy to finish off his siblings' plates after he ate his own. :)
The boys loved the show, but Tessa had a real hard time with all the fireworks. She does not love the sound they make!
On Friday morning, Matt & Lori and Paul & I did our timeshare presentations, so that we could get our stay for free/highly discounted. Al, Keith, Wyatt, & Hallee decided to join us in Vegas since they could get their stay free too. They kept our kids while we were in our presentation.
The girls enjoyed going to craft time at the hotel.
And then we kept their kids while Al & Keith did their presentation.
We had a bit of time that afternoon where everyone was down at the pools together and that was a lot of fun. The lazy river was a big hit!
We ate at the Rainforest Cafe that night. We took the shuttle as far as we could, but it was still a pretty long walk to get there. It was very hot and the Strip is really just full of stuff we don't want to see. I don't get what people love about the Strip so much.
The atmosphere at Rainforest Cafe was fun and the food was really good.
Gary & Julie bought desserts for everyone to celebrate Lori and Al & Keith's birthdays. That was so nice of them!
We found Matt taking a little snooze with his buddy on the way out. Haha.
After dinner some of the family went to the O Show. Our family wasn't interested in that one, so we took some of the nieces and nephews back to the hotel with us. We were all happy to go back and swim some more. I loved this picture of Lindy at the Bellagio though. We learned on this trip just how much Lindy loves chocolate!!
We had joining rooms with my parents at Tahiti Village. It was fun to get time with them on this trip. My dad was showing Tessa a picture of my mom when she was in her early 20s and asked if Tessa knew who it was. Tessa thought for sure it was me. I think the three of us look pretty similar!!
I'm so glad we came. That was so much fun.
