Mexican Riviera Cruise 2019

My parents decided to use the money that they got from Grandma Betty to take the whole family on a cruise!! It's been my mom's dream for a while now to take the whole family on an extra special vacation. Everyone was able to make it except for Caleb and Dante, which is pretty impressive for a group as big as ours!

The families from Utah drove to Irvine on Friday and stayed the night in a hotel there. We all walked to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner. It turned out to be a pretty long walk, but it felt good after being in the car all day.

On Saturday we drove to Long Beach and boarded the ship!!

It was so fun to see the kids' amazement at how huge the ship was, and to see everything that was on the ship. Our rooms were great. We had two adjoining rooms. They were bigger than we had heard the cabins were, and we had a huge window in each of them.

The kids loved to sit up there and watch the ocean and the ports.

Whenever we would leave the room, Tessa and Damon would set their dogs in the window so they could watch. :) Here they are looking at Land's End in Cabo.

We got different towel animals in our rooms every day. We all liked the monkey.

It was fun to explore the ship while we waited for our rooms to be ready and our luggage to be delivered.

It's always good to be around Matt!

As soon as our suitcases were in our room, we changed into our swimsuits and tried out one of the pools and the waterslide.

It was so windy up there as we were sailing away from the port! It made for some awesome windblown hair for me. :)

The water was ocean water, so it was really salty, but at least they kept it nice and warm.

The sunset that night was beautiful!
