Tessa, Scout and Brynn went to the temple for baptisms.
We had a Post-FSY activity up the canyon. We had the youth do some reflection and discussion in small groups.
Rockwell was a great group leader!
The rest of the night was games and food. I think the youth had a good time!
It was a lot of work to put the activity on, but I did get a few moments of fun line dancing. :) I do love being with the youth, and it was a great night reflecting on FSY and having fun together as a stake.
We started out smelling a whole wall of different scents and writing down any that we liked.
Then we went to the counter and a chandler (a candle maker) helped us find and combine the scents that we wanted. We could squeeze bottles and smell the vapors to see if the scents smelled good together.
Paul chose a fruity combination that smelled like his favorite shave ice, Love Potion #9. I chose a Christmas combination that smells like fresh Christmas trees.
It was a fun new experience!!
Damon went to the Lindon Pool with the Rosequist's for Dr Thompson's pool party. He won the hula hoop contest there too and won a Swig gift card and some candy. :)
Rockwell and his friends went to the sand dunes.
He said it was one of the most fun nights of summer!
He took a super cool picture of this weed! It looks like a big tree out in the sand, but it was actually a tiny weed. Super cool, Rockwell!
Cross Country boys are so funny! They found this couch on a corner on one of their runs. They picked it up and ran with it all the way back to the high school. Elsa said she wanted it for her room, so they loaded it up for her to take home. So random and so funny!
