Christmas with the Clarks

We went to Grandma and Gramps' house for Christmas dinner. We had some time to play games by the fire before the cousins got there.
Dinner was delicious as always!
Gramps taught us a great lesson about giving gifts from the heart and how Heavenly Father gave His Son for all of us. Tessa and Brylee helped by walking the items from his story around the table so we could all see them. And Rockwell and Hayden each learned a scripture to share with us.
We opened gifts after dinner. Grandma and Gramps are always so generous, and we all loved the thoughtful presents they gave us.
Tessa was a little stinker. Luckily she apologized though, and has loved playing with her Cabbage Patch Doll.
The missionaries spent the evening with us, and taught a quick lesson on not letting Satan into our lives before they left.
It was a great Christmas Day spent with family.

Christmas Morning

We had a great Christmas morning this year. The kids were so excited and so cute.

Santa brought Damon a drum set. He was ecstatic about this and kept saying, "I can't-a buwieve Santa brought me these drums!!"

Santa brought Tessa a keyboard.

And he brought Rockwell a huge Nerf gun.

I love watching the kids open their presents. It takes a lot of time and work to get Christmas ready for the family, but it is all worth it to see them get so excited about it all.

They each loved their puzzle and Beanie Boo from Grandpa Barth.

It's always fun to see what the kids pick out for Paul and me. I got some cute Christmas gear from the kids this year.

Paul was very excited that Rockwell bought him socks! :)

As soon as Damon opened his new camera, he got right to taking pictures of everyone. He would pose us and make sure we were just right. It was adorable.

We had a yummy breakfast and spent the morning playing together with all our new stuff.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve with the Ham's. We love all our traditions and all the time with family that night.

We started with dinner and then headed downstairs to watch the Nativity video.

Grandpa Ham read the nativity story from his big Bible while some of the grandkids acted it out.

Tessa wanted to be Mary, but then got really nervous before we started. She watched instead this year.  Rockwell was very excited to be a camel and have Damon ride on his back as a wiseman.

We played Christmas Bingo.

And did the Grab Box.

The kids loved the books they got from the Grab Box.

I always have to take a picture of Grandpa sleeping in the middle of all the noise. :)

We exchanged gifts with Grandma and Grandpa, and Damon was so excited to wear his new doggy blanket to bed that night. As he was walking up to bed he said, "I'm so lucky that I got those spinner things and a doggy AND a doggy blanket!"
